| The 2009 TDA Junior Company |
The True Dance offers an outstanding opportunity for our students who want to dance on the stage throughout
the year in addition to our annual recitals. Our company includes a junior company ages 12 and under and a
senior company ages 13 and up. These students audition or are selected to compete in 2 local events, a
showcase event (offered here in lincoln for their friends and family), and 1 out of state event in Kansas City
and/ or Iowa. The company is made up of talented dancers who take 6 or more technique classes on our
regional team and 9 or more techniqe classes on the national team. The company rehearses outside of
class to keep the classroom focused on technique rather than learning dances. Our company has won
hundreds of Platinum Awards, Outstanding Choreography Awards, Outstanding Technique Awards, Regional
and National Scholarships for our students, and National titles Awards, and Scholarships.
